Inspecting illustrative music reach and stream formulas

Read the explanation

The saved model assigns different weights to engagement types. Thirty likes contribute thirty, two reposts contribute seven, and seven replies contribute seventeen point five. The weighted sum is fifty four point five. The bars use six pixels per weighted unit. At eight thousand two hundred eighty nine impressions and three point four percent conversion, the rounded conversion count is two hundred eighty two. The generic first day formula would then give one thousand two hundred sixty three. But the exact default branch substitutes one thousand two hundred forty five. These are illustrative software assumptions, not measured song streams or validated marketing effects. Two separate functions generate daily trajectories. The headline model rounds each daily update, adds weighted engagements times one point five, and floors daily volume at fifteen. The chart function instead adds first day volume times zero point zero one five, keeps fractional intermediate values, and floors at ten. Using the same illustrative first day value of twelve hundred forty five, the first headline update becomes twelve hundred twenty seven, while the chart update is eleven hundred sixty four point zero seven five, displayed as eleven hundred sixty four. The shared bars use one fifth of a pixel per daily unit. Different recurrences need not produce equal thirty day totals. Condition order also affects the labels. The source first checks whether the score is at least seventy and returns High Momentum. Only in an else branch does it check whether the score is at least eighty five and return Viral Breakout. Every score at least eighty five already satisfies the earlier seventy check. The second label is therefore unreachable through this branch order. The number line shows the eighty five threshold inside the region caught by the first branch. A label is an outcome of program logic, not evidence that a song has actually broken out. Inspect the actual exports independently. The JSON uses the metrics function, while the CSV uses the chart curve function. The exact default headline total is a fixture, so it should not be assumed to equal a sum of the exported daily curve. Verify the native controls, fallback canvas, responsive layout, and real local video playback. The original page also has a synthesized chime, which is separate from this narrated explainer. This explanation concerns saved software behavior and does not validate artist announcements, current streaming figures or future audience growth.
