Readiness points and evidence-count plateaus

Read the explanation

The organizer assigns points to record count and five manually checked preparation boxes. Three or more records contribute twenty five points. Each checked box contributes fifteen. With four boxes checked, the checklist contributes sixty, so the displayed score is eighty five. The two growing segments use four pixels per point: one hundred pixels for evidence count, plus two hundred forty for the checklist. A fifth checked box adds sixty pixels and reaches one hundred percent. These are software points. They do not confirm that a document exists, that a redaction is complete, or that a case is ready for legal action. Evidence points are a stepped rule rather than a constant amount for every row. Zero records receive zero points; one receives ten; two receive eighteen; three or more receive twenty five. At four pixels per point, the visible bar widths are zero, forty, seventy two and one hundred. A fourth record has no further effect on this part of the score. Removing the third record leaves eighteen points, a drop of seven, while keeping four checked boxes yields seventy eight total points. This can move the source label from High Preparation, which starts at eighty, to Moderate Preparation. Document contents and statuses do not appear in the scoring equation. The source label thresholds divide the point score into three bands. Below fifty is Initial Stage. Fifty through seventy nine is Moderate Preparation. Eighty and above is High Preparation. At four pixels per point, a full one hundred-point reference bar is four hundred pixels long. The threshold positions are two hundred and three hundred twenty pixels from its beginning. A seventy eight-point example reaches three hundred twelve pixels, eight pixels short of the High threshold. These are interface categories, not externally validated classifications. Use the evidence entries and exported dossier as an organizational aid, and independently verify sensitive information and the underlying documents.
