Visiting MAX POWER at KSC

The Kennedy Space Center aerospace festival blends supersonic flight demonstrations over the Atlantic coastline with active space program access, Artemis heavy rocket mobile launcher displays, and astronaut panels.

How much transit time is needed between areas?

Walking from the Rocket Garden to the Flight Line takes approximately 12–15 minutes. The bus transit to the Apollo/Saturn V Center requires 20 minutes each way plus loading, so keep at least a 35-minute gap before following sessions.

What if flight shows get rescheduled?

Flight demos depend on coastal weather ceilings. If a show moves, simply use the time controls on any event in this tool to immediately recompute walking gaps and overlap alerts.

Festival Planning Essentials

Can I bring my family crew to all exhibits?

Yes, all exhibits, astronaut autographs, and flight-line viewing areas are family-friendly. Ear protection is recommended for younger crew members during supersonic jet passes.

Does this calendar export sync with mobile phones?

Yes. The “Download Calendar (.ics)” button produces a standard iCalendar feed that imports directly into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook on your device.

A schedule separates activity time, gaps and transit warnings

Read the explanation

The saved planner starts with four events on the first day, lasting sixty, forty five, forty and eighty minutes. Their active duration totals two hundred twenty five minutes, or three hours forty five. The three gaps between their end and next start are fifteen, thirty and fifty minutes, totaling ninety five. At one pixel per minute, the active-time and gap bars measure two hundred twenty five and ninety five. The displayed transit buffer is the sum of available nonnegative gaps, not the sum of required walking or bus durations. Event names and dates are saved illustrative content; this video does not verify a real festival schedule, booking or official access. The first transition goes from Astronaut Stage to Rocket Garden. Its assigned transit requirement is six minutes, while the saved fifteen minute gap leaves nine minutes above that threshold. At ten pixels per minute the requirement, gap and surplus measure sixty, one hundred fifty and ninety. The code reports a tight transit warning when zones differ and a nonnegative gap is shorter than the assigned requirement. A negative gap instead increments the overlap counter. It only compares neighboring events after sorting by start time. Longer events that overlap later, nonadjacent events do not produce an exhaustive all-pairs conflict count. These zone times are table assumptions rather than verified travel guarantees. The second day starts with three events lasting fifty, thirty five and sixty minutes, totaling one hundred forty five. Combined with day one, the initial schedule contains seven entries and three hundred seventy active minutes. At one pixel per minute, the comparison bars show two hundred twenty five for day one and one hundred forty five for day two. Text export includes both days even when one day is selected. Calendar export creates one event for every itinerary entry using fixed November seventh or eighth of twenty twenty six and the America New York time zone. It does not validate those dates against an official calendar, reserve seats or prove that a phone imported the file. A downloaded schedule is the local state summary.
