1. The Retrofitted Underlay Scam
Scammers generate a finished AI render, run an edge filter (Canny/Sobel) or low-opacity trace over it, and claim it was their "initial rough sketch". Authentic sketches have anatomical search lines (pentimenti) that deviate from final inks.
2. Unanchored Guidelines
Look at perspective and face crosshairs: fake sketches often have guidelines drawn over fully rendered hair or clothes without anchoring to the underlying cranium or skeletal landmarks.
3. Uniform Stroke & Zero Undo Cadence
True digital drafting involves hundreds of pressure adjustments, micro-redistributions, and stroke erasures. Synthetic timelapses reveal stroke uniformities with 0% pentimento density.
