Shortlist Wynter for targeted B2B buyer feedback, Maze for message research within a wider survey and product-testing workflow, and Lyssna for focused preference, five-second and other unmoderated studies. Those are method-based recommendations, not a universal ranking. The right audience and question matter more than a dashboard score.
Wynter
Targeted B2B feedback
Wynter's official overview describes message testing with line-by-line feedback on websites, ads, decks and emails. It supplies a B2B panel with role, seniority, industry and company-size targeting, and also offers preference tests and customer interviews. Official platform overview.
Our editorial fit: investigate why a specific business buyer misunderstands or disbelieves a claim. A buyer sample does not itself establish that revised copy will increase conversion.
The official overview lists pay-as-you-go studies from $899 and annual plans from $20,000/year. These starting figures are not a quote for your audience or scope. Confirm the final study cost.
Ask before choosing: can the recruiting criteria match the people involved in your actual buying decision?
Maze
Research within a broader product workflow
Maze documents surveys with open questions, opinion scales, multiple choice and other blocks, plus recruitment through its panel or your own audience. Its launch-copy template includes reactions, perceived uniqueness, information amount and stated likelihood to buy. Survey capabilities; Copy-study template.
Our editorial fit: study messaging alongside concept and product questions using a structured survey. Stated purchase intent is an attitude, not a completed purchase. Vendor AI features are separate from the manual analyzer on this page.
Review current platform entitlements and recruitment charges separately. We have not turned a plan name into an assumed per-participant price.

Ask before choosing: does your plan support the study blocks, audience recruitment and exports you need?
Lyssna
Focused preference and comprehension studies
Lyssna documents preference sections showing alternatives with instructions and optional follow-up questions; its help guide explicitly mentions copy preferences. Core methods include five-second tests, survey questions and preference tests. Preference documentation; Study methods and limits.
Our editorial fit: compare options and ask why someone chose one, or investigate what they recall after a short exposure. A preference is not proof of comprehension, and comprehension is not proof of demand.
Plan limits and panel credits are separate. Lyssna says credits are needed for panel orders, while using your own audience does not require those credits. Study duration, screeners and recordings can affect panel cost.

Ask before choosing: do you need a one-section quick study or a multi-section in-depth study, and who will respond?
Choose by the uncertainty you need to resolve.
For positioning, ask which category buyers place you in, what problem they think you solve and which alternative they would use. For message comprehension, ask them to restate the offer before showing a list of possible answers. For preference, show competing options with an explicit question and collect reasons. For conversion impact, design a behavioral experiment separately; a survey percentage does not provide causal evidence.
Keep recruitment, task wording, exposure and coding consistent when comparing messages. Document what differs. Avoid asking “How clear is our innovative solution?”—the wording supplies the desired verdict. No tool fixes a leading question or an irrelevant sample automatically.
