Fictional 30:45 chapter-editing exercise. The waveform and transcript are invented; no recording is loaded, and Simulate Play advances the clock about 25 times faster than real time. This is not an official BlizzCon or third-party media episode.

Useful chapters need real timestamps and clear provenance
Does a clean chapter list establish what was said in a recording?
This editor organizes an invented 30:45 fixture into navigable segments. It can demonstrate splitting, merging and naming chapters, but the transcript, waveform and episode are fictional. A structured export does not make the underlying announcement or quote verified.
No media upload, audio waveform analysis, speech recognition, real-time audio or saving across reloads is provided. The simulated clock advances 3 seconds every 120ms, about 25× real time, and loops to the start. Initial transcript lines cover selected intervals; editing chapters does not alter those line times or their text.
Try a worked example
The initial starts are 0:00, 0:46, 5:11 and 14:11. Their lengths are 46, 265, 540 and 994 seconds, summing to 1845 seconds or 30:45. Add a marker at 100 seconds: the 46–311 chapter splits into 46–100 and 100–311, lasting 54 and 211 seconds. At the start/end, Add uses the fixture’s 75% point, rounded to 1384 seconds or 23:04. Adding at an existing boundary updates that marker’s title/category rather than creating a duplicate zero-length chapter.
Separate the real event from this sample
Blizzard’s official return announcement gives September 12–13, 2026 at the Anaheim Convention Center. It does not validate this page’s 30:45 duration, chapter titles, fictional speakers or any sample claims about cinematics, dungeons or community sentiment. Blizzard: BlizzCon returns in 2026
For real show notes, establish the recording and event date first, then distinguish speaker quotes from your summary. Link each announcement to its primary release or recording and use timestamps a reader can actually follow. This fixture supplies no such recording.
Export a usable list without overstating compatibility
YouTube’s manual-chapter guidance calls for a description list beginning 00:00, at least three timestamps in ascending order and chapters of at least 10 seconds. This editor permits shorter segments and fewer than three chapters. Its generic JSON is not a YouTube import file, and the Markdown includes additional fictional transcript material; neither output proves platform eligibility. YouTube Help: video chapters
For an eligible real video, convert your reviewed chapters into plain timestamp-and-title lines in its description, check the actual video duration, and confirm feature access. The editor does not upload, publish or activate chapters. Delete merges a chapter into its predecessor, except deleting the first extends the next to 00:00. Restore Fixture discards edits and stops simulated playback.
