What separates an editorial sequence from a recorded news briefing?
This independent tool arranges three authored news-style scenarios and exports text or JSON. Its chime is synthesized; its animated waveform is decorative. It does not read the summaries aloud, play Bloomberg recordings, fetch current headlines or download an audio file.
The Hormuz, AI-equities and currency statements are unverified examples without a dated article or episode for each claim. The stored percentages are signed illustrative impact scores, not measured market returns, forecasts or statistical volatility. Bureau and sector notes are scenario annotations, not evidence that a newsroom reported them.
Try a worked example
With all three enabled, planned durations add to 45 + 60 + 50 = 155 seconds. The signed score is +1.8 − 2.4 + 0.5 = −0.10%. The text cues start at 00:00, 00:45 and 01:45. Exclude the AI scenario: duration becomes 95 seconds, score +2.30%, and the second cue starts at 00:45. The 1.15× pacing control changes the animation and exported setting; it does not divide the planned durations or create speech.

For an editorial briefing, attach the original article or episode, publication date, relevant quote or observation, and the time the evidence was checked. Separate that reporting from interpretation. The old social-post link could not be verified here, so it remains labeled unverified rather than grounding the scenario claims.
Understand the preview and timing
Web Audio represents synthesis and processing as connected audio nodes. This tool generates a short chime through Tone.js when available, or a native oscillator fallback; it has no speech engine or recorded-news asset. W3C: Web Audio specification
Start/Pause controls an indefinite visual animation and triggers a chime on start. There is no segment timer, automatic advancement or completion at 155 seconds. The waveform comes from sine/cosine drawing code, not from sampled audio. Cue offsets are editorial durations accumulated in sequence order, not timestamps measured from a recording.
Read the scores and exports honestly
A negative sum can occur because positive and negative fixture coefficients cancel. That arithmetic alone cannot estimate risk: real volatility requires an identified variable, observations, time window and estimator. The included scores and sector notes are practice annotations, not investment guidance.
Select a card to inspect its dossier, include/exclude it, and move it with the arrows. Reordering keeps the same story selected and changes exported cue order. JSON and text include enabled stories only; an empty sequence exports zero values and an explicit empty status. Reset restores all three stories, original order, first selection and 1.15× animation pacing, and stops the visual preview.
