Independent sample scripts and procedural timeline bars, not verified current news or Bloomberg-produced content. Playback advances a timer with optional chimes; it does not read text aloud or encode audio. Official publisher sources and model limits are below.
What changes when you shorten, reorder or speed up this illustrative briefing?
This is a local pacing exercise with three unverified sample stories. Playback advances a timer and triggers synthesized chimes; it does not read the transcript aloud or fetch Bloomberg recordings. Use the publisher's episode feed for actual reporting.
The transcript, market figures and news assertions are illustrative fixtures without verified episode dates or reporting sources. The animated bars are decorative, not an analysis of recorded sound. Coverage measures how many sample segments are selected, not journalistic completeness.
At the default target, 95 + 75 + 40 = 210 timeline seconds. At 1.25x, the displayed effective time is round(210 / 1.25) = 168 seconds. Keep only the 95-second story and the timeline becomes 95 seconds, rather than filling the entire 210-second target. Increasing the target to five minutes multiplies that story by 300 / 210, giving approximately 136 seconds before playback speed is applied; it does not create additional reporting.
Bloomberg publishes a News Now series. Its publisher playlist links to actual episodes and listening platforms. These sample titles and figures have not been matched to an episode. Bloomberg News Now: publisher's episode series Bloomberg News Now: publisher playlist
A shorter selected list removes sample stories; it does not automatically summarize their key facts. For a real briefing, retain dates, attribution and uncertainty, and link each material assertion to its reporting source. Avoid treating an exported sample summary as a current-news document.
The duration slider scales every selected segment against the original 210-second baseline. The speed buttons change the clock's rate. They do not generate a voice, stretch a recording or add information. Reordering changes segment boundaries and transcript offsets, while the total remains the sum of selected scaled durations.
Coverage is round(selected segment count / 3 × 100): one, two and three segments display 33%, 67% and 100%. Those percentages do not establish topic balance, accuracy or comprehension. The interface prevents removing the final selected segment.
The audio engine uses triangle-oscillator chords through a low-pass filter. The canvas draws procedural bars independently of any microphone, recording or frequency analyser. A Web Audio context's actual sample rate comes from its context configuration or output device; a printed 48 kHz label alone does not establish it. W3C Web Audio specification
The JSON export describes the selected ordering, speed and scaled durations. The text export contains selected sample paragraphs. Neither download contains an audio file, an AAC or Opus encoded stream, a speech recording or a verified Bloomberg transcript. Reset restores the three-story fixture and default pacing; the page provides no manifest import or durable saved edition. Scaled per-segment durations in JSON are rounded individually, so their sum can differ from the separately rounded total by one second. Transcript seeks use the underlying unrounded offsets; displayed stamps floor to whole seconds.
