The dashboard that actually keeps traders alive

A viral thread asked: "what metric should every crypto trader have on their dashboard?" Here are the eight with the strongest case — what each measures, its danger zone, and why it earns screen space. Tap a metric, then move its slider and watch the gauge react.

Three rules for any dashboard

Measure risk before profit

PnL is a lagging output. Funding, leverage, and drawdown are leading inputs. A dashboard that shows profit first trains you to chase; one that shows risk first trains you to survive.

One glance, one decision

Each widget should answer a yes/no question ("am I over-exposed?"). If a chart needs interpretation every time, it belongs in research, not on the dashboard.

Track yourself, not just the market

Win rate, average R, and time-in-trade are metrics about you. Most blown accounts had fine market data and zero self-data.
