Workstation meets OSHA 1910.900 & ANSI/HFES 100 ergonomics recommendations.

1. The 15°–20° Gaze Rule

Resting human eye posture looks slightly downward. Placing the center of your screen 15° to 20° below horizontal eye line prevents dry eyes and reduces anterior neck muscle tension.

2. The Eye-Level Bezel Rule

The top border of your screen should never sit higher than your natural horizontal eye line. For bifocal or progressive lens wearers, lower the monitor by another 4–8 cm to prevent tipping the chin upward.

3. Tilt & Perpendicularity

Because your eyes gaze downward at the screen, tilting the monitor backwards by 10°–20° keeps the screen plane perpendicular (90°) to your focal path, optimizing text contrast and reducing overhead reflections.
