Show the edit. Keep the trust.

A lightweight provenance card for people who want to distinguish a disclosed edit from an unverified claim. Record what you know and leave the rest open to human review.

Boundary

A Photoshop edit and an AI edit can look similar, and this page cannot establish which happened. Use source records, creator disclosure, and human judgment before making a public claim.

A review record stores six supplied fields

Read the explanation

The source stores title, source, method, confidence, decision and note: six user-supplied fields. Its visible card uses four: title, decision, method and confidence. Bars use sixty pixels per field. This is a local provenance note, not image analysis, edit detection or independent evidence about how an image was made. The source offers four edit-method labels and three confidence labels. Bars use eighty pixels per option. Together with three decision labels there are thirty six possible combinations. The code does not validate their consistency or turn confidence into measured probability. The default no edit reported can coexist with disclose edit; human review must interpret those recorded choices. Download first saves all six current fields then exports a Markdown note containing them and a no-automated-analysis boundary. Bars compare six saved fields and six exported fields at sixty pixels per field. Direct input edits save locally but do not update the visible card until Save or Download. Reset restores defaults and persists them. No image pixels or external source records are fetched.
