How Discord Bot Gateway Authentication Works

        
Discord bot tokens use the Bot [token] header format rather than user sessions. Because the Discord client does not natively allow bot tokens in the user login screen, this Equicord plugin injects a Gateway v10 WebSocket (OpCode 2 Identify) and simulates presence while keeping your user session intact.

      

      

        
Client-Side Voice Channel Injection

        
Connecting a bot to voice requires sending a Gateway OpCode 4 (VOICE_STATE_UPDATE), receiving OpCode 0 (VOICE_SERVER_UPDATE), and negotiating an encrypted WebRTC/Opus socket using aead_aes256_gcm_rtpsize with IP discovery and speaking flags (Voice OpCode 5).
