How Ring Walk Times are Calculated

Combat sports broadcasts do not run on strict fixed commercial blocks like football or basketball. Round pacing is calculated as:

Round Duration: Standard 3-minute combat round + 1-minute corner rest = 4.0 minutes per completed round.
Pacing / Stoppage Modeling: KO-heavy cards average ~60% of max rounds; technical tactical cards average ~85-90%.
TV Buffer & Ring Walks: Includes walkout themes, fighter introductions by the ring announcer, referee checks, and commercial bumpers.
