Circular Canvas & Pocket Geometry
In circular bare-knuckle combat (such as BKFC) and professional boxing rings, angles change dramatically compared to caged octagons. Without straight corners to trap an opponent, fighters must cut off angles using footwork vectors and pocket commitment.
Significant Strikes vs Volume
Under the Unified Rules of Combat Sports, effective striking is the number one judging priority. A heavy overhand that rocks the equilibrium outweighs multiple tapping range jabs that cause negligible damage.
10-Point Must Scoring Protocol
Judges award 10 points to the round winner and 9 (or 8 for dominant rounds with knockdowns/staggers) to the loser. Rounds are evaluated on immediate damage first, cumulative impact second, and cage/ring generalship third.
