The Unified 10-Point Must System
Under professional boxing and combat sports association standards (including the Association of Boxing Commissions and European Boxing Union), the winner of each round is awarded ten points, and the loser is awarded nine points or fewer.
Clean punching, effective aggression, ring generalship, and defense form the four pillars of judging. When a fighter scores a clean knockdown (as Davies did in Round 4), the standard score is 10–8 unless the opponent dominated the rest of the three minutes.

Jabs establish range and disrupt rhythm, typically landing at 15–25% accuracy. Power shots (hooks, crosses, uppercuts) carry concussive damage and are heavily weighted by ringside judges when scoring effective aggression.
