Glambot Motion Studio
Inspired by Rhea Seehorn's viral red-carpet Glambot sweep. Choreograph high-speed robotic camera kinematics, fine-tune Phantom Flex 1000fps speed ramping, compute payload G-forces, and simulate the iconic Hollywood slow-motion whip.
The Bolt High-Speed Rig
The red-carpet Glambot utilizes high-acceleration industrial robotics (such as the Mark Roberts Motion Control Bolt). Capable of accelerating from zero to 4.5+ meters per second in milliseconds, the arm tracks a precise 6-DOF spline around the celebrity without risking physical contact.
Speed Ramping Mechanics
Recording at 1000 frames per second on a Phantom Flex4K produces 41.6 seconds of 24fps video for every 1 second of real-world motion. The speed ramp curve accelerates the entrance at 100% speed, drops steeply into hyper-slow-motion at the apex expression, and snaps out dynamically.
90° Shutter & Strobe Lighting
At 1000fps with a 90-degree shutter, exposure time is 1/4000th of a second. This eliminates motion blur on flying hair, jewelry glints, and fabric folds, but requires massive high-CRI continuous LED arrays and synchronized strobe flash bursts to avoid flicker.
