Tactical & Physics Analysis: The Low-Pad-Level Surge

1. Vector Angle & Center of Mass

Powering through a short-yardage stack requires lowering the center of mass below the defender's chest. Adam Randall's low drive angle maximizes horizontal force vectors, turning leg drive directly into forward acceleration rather than vertical leap resistance.

2. Leg Drive Force & Second Effort Momentum

Initial collision rarely scores on goal-line blitzes. Secondary leg churn maintains forward velocity against high friction and defensive mass stack, generating sustained impulse (p = F · Δt) to drag defenders across the line.

3. Offensive Line Surge (Plexus Mass)

The RB does not push alone. The combined mass of guards and center creates a wave of momentum. If line push velocity matches RB surge angle, defensive wall penetration is nearly guaranteed.
