Occlusion shadows occur wherever stone mass, arch piers, or urban facades block electromagnetic and direct line-of-sight (LOS) sensors.

This engine computes exact 2D visibility polygons by casting intersection rays against all polygon vertices, calculating shadow penumbras, and simulating autonomous UAV patrol circuits along defined orbital radii.

Critical Perimeter Metrics & Constraints

  • Elevation Advantages: Elevated platforms (such as a 45m civic arch crown) compress ground blind spots but introduce steep downward dead-zones at the structure's base.
