Tactical Spatial Simulator

Personal Safety Escape Lab

Simulate real-world reactionary gaps, improvised defensive countermeasures, barrier shielding, and sprint trajectories toward illuminated safe havens.

Spatial Reaction Field

Coordinate Scale: 1m = 22px
Escape Outcome Ready
Distance to Haven 14.2 m
Time to Safety 2.73 s
Attacker Margin +1.45 m
Mode: Interactive Positioning • Press Simulate Escape
Adjust sliders or click & drag entities, then test whether the reactionary gap and countermeasure allow full disengagement to the illuminated safe zone.

Disengagement Dynamics

Improvised leverage (e.g. sharp heel impact to instep or hard push) shatters attacker momentum and induces an OODA cognitive restart loop of ~1.8 seconds.

Refuge Route & Obstacles

Direct vector to illuminated commercial storefront avoids dead-ends and places street bollards in the pursuit path.

Situational Color Code (Cooper)

Awareness exists in stages:

  • Condition White: Unaware, eyes glued to phone, isolated.
  • Condition Yellow: Relaxed awareness, noting exits, blind corners, and following footsteps.
  • Condition Orange: Specific alert triggered; establishing 21-foot reactionary buffer.
  • Condition Red: Immediate decisive action: strike, shield, create distance, sprint to light.

Vulnerable Target Areas

When physical evasion is cut off and contact occurs, focus improvised leverage on biomechanically fragile zones:

  • Instep / Foot Arch: Direct vertical stomp using firm heel or sole causes intense pain and motor spasm.
  • Shin Bone & Kneecap: Scraping downward destabilizes balance.
  • Ocular & Throat Disruptions: Key clusters or flashlight beams blind peripheral vision.

The Reactionary Gap Principle

Action is always faster than reaction. An unexpected rush closes 4 meters in less than 0.8 seconds. Improvised objects (bags, footwear, umbrellas) are valuable not for sustained combat, but strictly to create a 1.5 to 2.5 second delay sufficient to turn and run.
