1. Extreme Parity & Cages
Start with cages demanding maximum (e.g. 11 or 12 in 2 cells) or minimum (0, 1) sums. A 2-cell cage needing 12 can only be satisfied by a [6|6] tile or two 6s across adjacent halves.
2. Domino Inventory Cross-Check
Every standard set contains exact pairings. If only one domino has a 6 and a 5, and only one cage has an odd sum needing high pips, that domino is uniquely constrained.
3. Board Tiling Restrictions
Dominoes are 1×2 blocks. Look for isolated corners, bottleneck peninsulas, or checkerboard color parity that restrict the orientation (horizontal vs vertical) of adjacent tiles.

What do the pip colors and cages mean?
Each colored zone is a cage with a target sum displayed in the top corner. When dominoes fill a cage and their combined pip count matches the target exactly, the cage turns green.
