Inspired by the high-stakes playoff tracking at Ballislife, this tool simulates full postseason basketball brackets with calibrated team offensive and defensive ratings, home-court scoring margins, and volatility-driven clutch moments.
- Ratings & Pace: Each team has an Offensive Rating (ORTG) and Defensive Rating (DRTG). Game scores are computed based on possession pace and rating differential.
- Clutch Volatility: Fourth quarters trigger late-game leverage tests. Closer games activate buzzer-beater algorithms and potential overtimes.
- Dynamic Series Progression: Advancing teams reseed automatically into the Semifinals and WNBA Finals according to bracket positioning.
Bracket Customization & FAQs
Can I simulate single games or full rounds?
Yes. Use “Sim Next Game” for step-by-step game logs, “Sim Next Round” to complete the active round, or “Simulate All” in the top bar to resolve the entire bracket to a champion instantly.
How is Home Court Advantage applied?
The higher seed receives the selected point advantage (default +3.5 pts) in home games under standard 2-2-1 or 1-1-1 playoff formats.
