Four options.
Different jobs.
Quick answer: consider ChatGPT Business or Claude for reviewed drafting and analysis, Microsoft 365 Copilot when the work lives in Microsoft apps, and Zapier when you need to connect an explicit process across systems. These are fit judgments, not a universal ranking. None removes the need to verify important output.
ChatGPT Business
A shared assistant workspace for general business work
OpenAI documents multi-step research, synthesis, analysis and document work in ChatGPT Work, with access and actions governed by the workspace’s plan, permissions and connected systems.
Our fit judgment: a useful candidate for teams drafting explanations, preparing internal documents or reviewing supplied material. Check which seats, surfaces, tools and data policies your workspace actually includes before planning a workflow around them.

Claude
An assistant for writing, files and reviewed analytical work
Claude’s official pricing page lists chat, web search, file creation, code execution and Artifacts on its free plan, with higher usage and additional features on paid plans. The page lists Pro at $20 with monthly billing; annual terms differ and usage limits apply.
Our fit judgment: compare its responses on the same representative brief you use for another assistant. Do not infer better accuracy or lower review effort from a product label.

Microsoft 365 Copilot
AI assistance around an existing Microsoft work environment
Microsoft’s business page lists Copilot in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, alongside work chat and research/data-analysis features. Plans, eligible subscriptions, add-ons and bundles need to be checked against your existing Microsoft licensing.
Our fit judgment: evaluate it when the source documents and daily work already live in Microsoft 365. Compare total added cost and required access, rather than treating a bundle price as a standalone subscription quote.

Zapier + AI steps
A platform for a defined process across connected apps
Zapier documents task-based workflows. Its AI steps use model tiers and tool calls that affect task usage, and the help page distinguishes publishing on paid plans from previewing on the free plan.
Our fit judgment: consider it when the trigger, input, permitted action and human review point can be stated explicitly. Count task usage, external service charges, failures and maintenance; a chat subscription alone is not a connected workflow.

Pricing checked, not flattenedOfficial product and pricing pages were reviewed October 5, 2026. Prices, plan availability, minimum seats, billing periods and usage charges can change. The Claude monthly Pro price above is a sourced example; the worksheet’s default costs are clearly hypothetical and never represent a vendor quote. Subscription access and API usage are separate procurement questions. No vendor account was benchmarked for this comparison.
I want better drafts, not automation.
Try the same small, non-sensitive brief in a general assistant. Record drafting, verification and editing time. Choose the result your team can responsibly use, not the fastest first draft.
Our files already live in an office suite.
Investigate the assistant available in that ecosystem. Confirm permissions, plan requirements and whether the required context is actually accessible. A familiar interface does not establish reliable output.
I want an action across several apps.
Document the trigger, the allowed action, failure recovery and the approval point. A connected process needs configured credentials and monitoring; it is not created by selecting a tool in this planner.
