Roadmap Studio

From syntax to shipped software

Build the path. Then build the proof.

Programming teaches you to express logic. Software development adds product thinking, version control, testing, security, deployment, observability, and teamwork. This studio turns those dependencies into a plan you can actually execute.

A nine-month full-stack path at ten hours per week.

Foundation forming

Your fastest gain comes from completing one independently scoped project with tests and deployment.

Spaced review queue

Saved plans

Compare time and role choices.

Project ladder

Scope projects that prove the next skill.

Each rung adds one production constraint. A smaller finished project with clear tradeoffs is stronger evidence than an ambitious abandoned clone.

Deliberate practice system

Close the gap between “I followed it” and “I can own it.”

A

Read the primary docs

Use tutorials for orientation, then return to API references, specifications, and official guides. Write down one assumption you verified.

B

Request code review

Ask for feedback on naming, boundaries, tests, failure behavior, security, and maintainability—not only whether the happy path runs.

C

Observe production behavior

Add structured logs, useful errors, health checks, and performance budgets. A deploy is the beginning of feedback, not the finish line.

D

Design for more people

Test keyboard access, contrast, loading states, authorization, input validation, secret handling, and recovery before calling work complete.

Interview preparation

Practice explaining decisions, not memorizing verdicts.

Explain a bug you diagnosed by forming and testing hypotheses. What evidence changed your mind?

Shared vocabulary

Know what “production-ready” asks of you.

Your next move

Ship one observable improvement this week.

A roadmap cannot guarantee employment. It can make your practice more deliberate, your evidence more concrete, and your gaps easier to see.
