Everything Somerset Parents Want to Know
What should my child wear to class?
Comfortable trainers or plimsolls and any activewear (shorts/joggers and a t-shirt). A branded welcome sports shirt is gifted upon joining full term, but trials are casual!
How do coaches handle shy or reluctant children?
Our FA and UK-Athletics certified coaches use gentle game-play where parents can step in as "co-captains" during weeks 1â2 until the child feels completely comfortable.
Why multi-sport instead of just mini-football?
Sports science shows early specialization leads to muscle imbalances and dropouts. Sampling soccer, tennis, rugby, and track builds superior balance, spatial IQ, and lasting confidence.
Where are classes held when it rains?
All our Somerset venues (Taunton, Bath, Yeovil, Frome, Bridgwater) feature reserved indoor sports halls, ensuring zero weather cancellations throughout the autumn and winter.
