How to use this scheduler
A surgical-shelf-ready study week, built around real clinical hours.
Drag blocks from the left palette onto an evening or weekend slot. The default grid loads the colorectal template plus a 5-block sample dataset so you see a working week, not an empty page.
Snap-to-grid: all blocks snap to 30-minute marks. Blocks can't overlap locked gray clinical time. UWorld Timed Blocks shorter than 60 minutes show an amber warning, under 40 minutes a red alert.
Energy curve: the translucent teal arc shows your circadian energy — cortisol peak around 7a, post-lunch dip 1–3p, second wind 6–8p. Drop practice blocks in the high windows.
Shelf coverage: the meter computes weighted NBME Surgery Shelf topic coverage from your placed blocks. Click the meter for topic-gap detail and one-tap suggestions.
Subspecialty change reflows clinical blocks while preserving study blocks that still fit in free time. Weekend catch-up mode reweights Saturday and Sunday. Rough day replaces UWorld blocks on your post-call day with Anki.
Keyboard: Tab to a palette block, Enter to enter placement mode, ↑/↓ to move 30 min, ←/→ to change day, Space to confirm, Esc to cancel. Del removes a focused block.
Mobile: palette collapses to a bottom drawer; tap a block then tap a slot to place. Day chips let you swipe through a single-day view.
Persistence: your plan auto-saves to this browser. Reload to restore, or hit "Restore last plan" to overwrite the sample.
Export: "Print / Save PDF" opens a printable styled view. "Copy iCal feed" downloads a .ics file you can import to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook.
