Turn 1 (Player)Battle underway on the Dagdan border. Commander Balor holds the central bastion.
Weapon Triangle Mastery
Fire Emblem's classic tactical rock-paper-scissors gives vital modifiers:
- Sword > Axe: +1 Damage, +15% Hit bonus
- Axe > Lance: +1 Damage, +15% Hit bonus
- Lance > Sword: +1 Damage, +15% Hit bonus
- Tomes (Magic): Targets Res instead of physical Def
Doubling (Follow-up) Formula
A unit executes a double attack when their net Attack Speed exceeds the opponent's by 4 or more:
- Attack Speed (AS) = Unit Speed − max(0, Weapon Wt − Strength)
- Follow-up Condition: ASattacker ≥ ASdefender + 4
- High-speed units like Swordmaster Rowan can strike twice before heavy axes recover!
Terrain & Avoidance
Smart positioning wins difficult odds:
- Forests: Grants +1 Defense and +20% Avoid.
- Fortress Gates: Grants +2 Defense and +30% Avoid to the occupant.
- Net Hit % = Attacker Hit − (Defender AS × 2 + Terrain Avoid).
