What is actually solved

ML Matrix diagonalizes the seeded real-symmetric tight-binding Hamiltonian. Each step applies U rho U†, then the exact site-projector dephasing map to off-diagonal elements.

Worked mechanism

rho[j,k] → exp(−gamma dt) rho[j,k], j ≠ k

At T=1 and gamma0=0.05, gamma=0.05. Populations are unchanged by that dephasing substep; interference is not.

Interpret with care
