About Travmark Multi-Stop Route Architect

Great-Circle Distance & Realistic Transit Times

Travmark calculates accurate orthodromic distances using the spherical law of cosines and Haversine formulations. Estimated transit times account for transport modes: high-speed rail curves, regional flights with check-in margins, scenic highway drives, and urban walking loops.

Standard GeoJSON & Itinerary Interoperability

Every planned route is fully compliant with RFC 7946 GeoJSON. You can export LineString and FeatureCollection schemas directly into GIS applications, mapping libraries (MapLibre, Mapbox, Google Earth), GPS devices, or personal trip journals.

Offline-Capable & Private by Design

All waypoint additions, reordering, custom descriptions, and coordinate math run locally inside your browser. No travel schedules or location records are ever stored on external analytics databases.

Travmark Route Math & Haversine Calculation

Read the explanation

Travmark translates ordered waypoints into continuous geographic journeys using spherical geometry. For every consecutive pair, the Haversine equation determines orthodromic distance across Earth's radius of sixty-three seventy-one kilometers. Each segment applies modal transit speeds and overhead buffers to predict transit hours, instantly updating the telemetry bar and exportable GeoJSON line.
