V1 Decision Speed
"What happens when you lose an engine after decision speed? You go. You're committed."
You are piloting a twin-engine aircraft. Advance the throttle to takeoff. An engine will fail near V1 (130 kts).
Before V1: Abort! Cut throttle to 0.
After V1: Continue! Keep throttle full, use rudder to stay on centerline, and reach Vr (140 kts).
