Move the clip to your iPhone

Browsers can create the audio clip, but iOS still requires an approved app such as GarageBand to install custom ringtones.

1

Export WAV

Choose the best 30 seconds or less, preview it, and download the WAV file.

2

Open GarageBand

Import the WAV into a new Audio Recorder project, then trim if needed.

3

Share as ringtone

Use My Songs, long-press the project, choose Share, then Ringtone and Export.

Honest limitation: this site does not claim it can directly install a ringtone from Safari. It creates the clip locally; iOS controls the final ringtone installation step.
Why does one video fail to decode?

The browser may not support that file's audio codec even when it recognizes the container. Convert it to MP3, M4A, or WAV locally and try again.

Why export WAV instead of M4R?

WAV can be encoded entirely in the browser without a large external codec library. GarageBand accepts WAV and performs the final ringtone export on iPhone.

Does my file leave this device?

No. Decoding, trimming, playback, and WAV creation occur locally in the browser. The app contains no upload request.
