FAQ: How the weighting formula works
How is the virality score calculated?
score = likes × likes-weight + reposts × reposts-weight + replies × replies-weight + views × views-weight. Reposts default to 3x because they push a post into new feeds, replies 2x for conversation depth, likes 1x, and views 0.001x so raw impressions do not drown out real engagement.
How are tokens split?
Each qualifying creator receives pool × (their score ÷ sum of all qualifying scores). If a creator would exceed the max-share cap, their allocation is clipped at the cap and the overflow is redistributed proportionally among the rest.
What does the cutoff do?
Creators scoring below the minimum score cutoff are excluded entirely, filtering out low-effort posts before the pool is divided.
