How long can an iPhone ringtone be?

iPhone ringtones are limited to 30 seconds. Text tones are limited to about 25 seconds. This tool enforces the 30 second cap automatically.

Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. The audio is decoded locally with the Web Audio API in your browser. Nothing leaves your device.

Set it on your iPhone

Four quick steps once your file is downloaded.

1. Save to Files

Download the WAV, then use the share sheet to save it into the Files app.

2. Open GarageBand

Create an Audio Recorder project, open Tracks view, tap the loop icon, find your file under Files, and drag it onto a track.

3. Share as Ringtone

Go to My Songs, long-press the project, tap Share, choose Ringtone, name it, and export.

4. Select in Settings

Open Settings, then Sounds and Haptics, then Ringtone. Your new tone appears at the top. Tap it and you are done.
