The Chicago Night 2 Convergence
On night two of Ye's homecoming residency at the United Center in Chicago, the stage transformed into an unprecedented reunion of midwest hip-hop history. Documented in real time by Complex via onstage photography from @twistagmg, Ye was joined by Twista, Common, Kid Cudi, Lupe Fiasco, and Big Sean.
The evening bridged three distinct eras of Chicago cultural influence: from the mid-2000s soulful triumph of Lupe Fiasco's breakout on "Touch The Sky" and Twista's rapid-fire delivery on "Slow Jamz", to Common's historic South Side collaborations on "The Food" and "Southside", to G.O.O.D. Music heavyweights Kid Cudi and Big Sean commanding the late-night encore.
