Bruder Klaus Field Chapel (Mechernich, 2007)
Constructed around 112 tree trunks burned slowly over three weeks to leave charred, fluted interior walls. Natural overhead illumination enters solely through an open teardrop oculus and tiny glass light-tubes, creating deep sacred contrast and acoustic dampening.
