Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SuperPowers AI ("Super," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use our iPhone app, web app, APIs, messaging interfaces, connected devices, and task-assistance services.
Information We Collect
- Account and identity information: name, email address, phone number, Super account identifier, authentication records, and device and app identifiers.
- Prompts and saved content: typed prompts, conversations, chat and project history, task requests and results, preferences, order details, destinations, messages, receipts, operator notes, and tool results.
- Voice information: microphone audio, speech transcripts, and assistant responses when you choose voice features.
- Files and visual information: photos, videos, attachments, PDFs, documents, screenshots, camera imagery, connected-device screen images, visible screen context, and webpage content that you choose to provide or that a requested feature captures.
- Connected-service information: information you request from connected services, such as Gmail messages, Calendar events, Drive files, Docs content, browser context, and automation results.
- Location: precise or approximate location when you grant permission or provide it for a requested task.
- Purchases and subscriptions: product, entitlement, purchase-status, subscription, credit-balance, and paywall interaction information. We do not receive your full payment-card details from Apple.
- Usage and diagnostics: product interactions, feature usage, device type, app version, IP address, browser user agent, logs, crash or performance information, and masked session-replay information used to operate and improve the service.
- Communications consent: text-message consent text, timestamp, source page, IP address, and browser user agent when available.
How We Collect Information
We collect information directly from you when you create an account, enter a prompt, speak to Super, select a file, connect a service, grant a device permission, make a purchase, or ask Super to perform a task. We also receive information from Apple and providers that help us authenticate users, process subscriptions, provide connected services, deliver communications, analyze product use, and operate the service. Camera, microphone, speech, photo, and location information is accessed only through the applicable feature and device permission.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide AI responses and requested actions; authenticate and maintain accounts; save chats, projects, preferences, and task state; provide connected-device and connected-service features; process subscriptions and credits; communicate with you; prevent fraud and abuse; provide support; debug, secure, analyze, and improve the service; and comply with legal obligations.
AI Processing and Your Permission
Before Super sends personal data to a third-party AI service, the iPhone app presents a separate disclosure describing the data and recipients and asks you to choose Allow AI Processing. If you choose Not Now, Super does not send your content to the AI providers listed below. Apple camera, microphone, or speech permission does not replace this separate AI-processing choice.
Depending on the feature you request, Super may send the minimum information needed to SuperPowers AI servers and these AI services:
- OpenAI: real-time voice audio, transcripts, session instructions, and tool results, and prompts when an OpenAI model is selected.
- OpenRouter and the selected model provider shown in the app: prompts, conversation context, attachments, images, webpage or screen context, and tool results. The downstream provider may include OpenAI, Google, or another provider identified by the selected model.
- Moondream: selected camera, screenshot, or screen imagery and requested object labels for visual detection and segmentation.
- Apple: voice audio may be processed by Apple's speech-recognition service when fallback speech recognition is used.
This information is used to generate responses, interpret visual context, and complete actions you request. We do not authorize AI providers to use your personal data for cross-app advertising or tracking.
Other Service Providers
- Superwall helps present subscriptions and manage purchase entitlements and may receive an account identifier, contact information, subscription status, paywall interactions, and app profile attributes.
- PostHog provides product analytics and masked session replay. The app is configured to mask text and images in session replay.
- Apple processes in-app purchases and device permissions.
- Google and connected-service providers provide only the content covered by permissions you grant and actions you request.
- Communications, hosting, security, and integration providers process information as needed to deliver messages, host the service, connect requested tools, prevent abuse, and provide support.
We do not sell personal information or text-message opt-in consent. We require service providers that receive personal data to use it only for disclosed purposes, apply appropriate security safeguards, honor applicable consent and deletion requirements, and provide the same or equal protection described in this Privacy Policy. We do not authorize them to sell the data or use it for cross-app advertising or tracking.
Text Messaging
If you opt into text messages, we may send automated messages from SuperPowers AI including login codes, account alerts, order and task updates, support messages, assistant replies, location-link requests, receipts, and related service notifications. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Your Choices and Withdrawing AI Permission
You may decline AI processing and still open the app. On iPhone, you may review or withdraw AI-processing permission at Settings > Privacy. Withdrawing permission disconnects active AI voice processing and prevents new audio, transcript, prompt, attachment, camera, screenshot, screen-context, location, connected-service, or tool-result information from being sent to an AI provider until you allow it again. Withdrawing permission does not automatically delete information already processed; you may request deletion as described below.
You can also change camera, microphone, speech, photo, and location permissions in iOS Settings, disconnect connected accounts in the app, and reply STOP to stop text messages.
Retention and Deletion
We retain account information and saved chats, projects, tasks, and user-selected content while your account is active or until you delete the content or request account deletion, except when retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes. Transient audio, camera frames, screenshots, and tool context are retained by SuperPowers AI only as reasonably necessary to process, secure, and complete the request unless you choose to save the resulting content. Service providers may retain information according to our agreements with them and applicable law.
You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@cheatlayer.com. After verifying the request, we delete or de-identify covered personal information from active systems, subject to limited legal, security, transaction-record, and backup-retention exceptions.
Security and International Processing
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
Children
Super is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required.
