Telemetry Inspector (At Cursor)
T1 APEXEngineering Notes: Bahrain International Circuit (Sakhir)
FIA Grade 1 // Lap Length 5.412 km (3.363 mi)Turn 1 & Turn 4: Heavy Deceleration
Cars brake from over 320 km/h down to ~65 km/h into T1 in 2.2 seconds under 4.8G longitudinal force. Red Bull's stable rear axle under trail braking gives earlier throttle pick-up onto the hill toward Turn 4.
Turns 9–10: The Downhill Lock-up Trap
The trickiest braking zone on the calendar. Turning left while braking downhill causes front-left wheel unweighting. RBR telemetries show progressive brake pressure migration preventing front lockups.
DRS Zones & Top Speed Delta
Three DRS detection and activation zones (Main Straight, T3 to T4, and T10 to T11) mean high aerodynamic efficiency is decisive. Downforce trimming directly trades apex grip for main straight trap speeds.
How to use this telemetry workbench
1. Compare Rivals: Tap Ferrari (Leclerc), Mercedes (Russell), McLaren (Norris), or Aston Martin (Alonso) to overlay their actual qualifying lap traces against Verstappen's pole lap.
2. Scrub or Play: Drag the track scrubber or press "Play Telemetry Lap" to watch both cars trace the Sakhir circuit in real-time, showing instantaneous speed, throttle, and brake telemetry.
3. Corner Apexes: Click any corner button (T1 to T15) to snap instantly to that apex and view corner minimum speeds and micro-deltas.
4. Aero & Tire Setup: Adjust RBR wing angles and tire compounds to simulate how downforce trades off top speed against high-speed cornering grip.
5. Export Data: Hit "Export Telemetry" to download the full 5,412-meter sampled CSV dataset for offline engineering analysis.
