1. Every Inning Counts (Match Play Scoring)

The team that scores the most runs in an individual inning gets 1 point on the match scoreboard. Cumulative runs only determine that single inning's winner. Exception: In the 9th inning or extra time, every individual run scores a full point.

2. The Two-Hour Hard Time Limit

No new inning can start after 1 hour and 50 minutes of game play. If time expires mid-inning, the inning finishes to conclude the contest or advance directly into a Showdown tiebreaker.

3. If a Fan Catches a Foul Ball, It's an OUT!

Camera operators and replay switchers must keep wide isolation on the grandstands. Any spectator catching a foul ball on the fly creates a legitimate out recorded on the official scorecard.

4. Walks are Sprints

On ball four, the batter immediately sprints as far as possible around the bases while every defensive player (except the catcher and pitcher) must touch the baseball before attempting to throw the runner out.

5. The Showdown Tiebreaker

If tied at the end of regulation, the game enters a 1-on-1-on-1 Showdown: one pitcher, one catcher, and one fielder against one batter. If the batter puts the ball in play, they must score a home run before the defense fields and tags home.
