Make feedback easy to locate

Feedback is more useful when the reviewer can name the frame. A labelled contact sheet provides a common reference while leaving the original photographs available for detailed inspection.

Put it into practice

Use stable, readable labels

Give each image a short file name that will still identify it after revisions. Avoid account numbers, private locations or other sensitive details in labels that will travel with the sheet.

Choose an overview size

Set enough pixels per thumbnail that the overall composition is readable on the client's display. The browser preserves image aspect ratio inside each cell, so portrait and landscape originals can share a sheet without being stretched.

Request specific feedback

Ask which named frames to retain, which need a different crop and which need closer inspection in the original. A sheet is a communication aid; it cannot establish a client's approval merely because you exported or sent it.

A worked example

A reviewer can say 'rear-three-quarter-02 needs more space on the right' instead of 'the third picture'. Keep the original file names stable so that note remains actionable after rearranging the sheet.

Local car-photo contact sheet builder with PNG export

A contact sheet makes it easier to review a car shoot without opening every photograph separately. Select local images, choose thumbnail size and columns, and download one labelled PNG. The originals stay untouched and the page makes no upload request.

The contact sheet is a review image, not a full-resolution replacement for your photographs. Browser-supported image formats can be decoded locally. Filename labels may reveal private information; choose images only if the sheet will be shared broadly.

Inputs are processed in this page. Nothing is submitted to the app or a business. Download a result to keep it; this page does not automatically save your work.

What to keep in mind

An AI scene is not evidence of a vehicle's condition. Preserve real photos of damage, interior wear and identifying details when selling a car. Carshoots sends selected references for online generation after request-specific permission.
