Inmates sentenced to over 1 year receive up to 54 days per year of sentence imposed (post-First Step Act amendment). GCT is credited at the end of each year served and can be forfeited upon DHO disciplinary findings.

FSA Earned Time Credits
Eligible federal inmates earn 10 days of credit per 30 days of successful programming. Inmates classified as Minimum or Low PATTERN recidivism risk over two consecutive assessments earn 15 days per 30 days. Up to 365 days can directly accelerate the release date.
