Not your whole life.
A 24-hour location share works best when everyone knows who can see it, when it ends, and what happens if plans change.

A local handoff converts entered units into written hours
Read the explanation
The source converts days to hours by multiplying the entered number by twenty four. One day and twenty four hours therefore produce the same twenty four hour text. Two days produce forty eight hours. These bars use ten pixels per hour. This is a written plan only; the tool never starts a location share or automatic expiration. The input number must be between one and seventy two. Despite the hint saying hours, validation checks the raw number before conversion. Seventy two days therefore generates seventeen hundred twenty eight hours. Common one third pixel per hour bars compare seventy two hours and seventeen hundred twenty eight hours. This exposes the actual source limit; it does not approve such sharing or verify a third party expiration policy. Duration, unit, audience, cadence and fallback are five saved fields. Equal boxes count those five fields. Generate trims audience and fallback; audience is required and blank fallback gets the source call-before-extending text. Copy copies the current generated message, not ungenerated edits. Reset restores the twenty four hour default. The text claims automatic ending but this page cannot enforce it. Actual sharing, consent and stopping must happen elsewhere.
