Physics & Operating Audit: Why Fresno Reached 101% of Target

ForeFront Power's ground-mounted solar project in Fresno, CA benefits from the San Joaquin Valley's high Direct Normal Irradiance (DNI) peaking above 7.8 kWh/m²/day in June–July. Using single-axis horizontal tracking (SAT) maximizes morning and late-afternoon incident angle cosine factors, capturing ~24% more plane-of-array (POA) energy compared to fixed tilt. Inverter clipping at 1.25 DC/AC ratio is negligible outside peak summer noon hours, allowing actual generation to hit 862 MWh (101.0% of the 853.5 MWh pre-construction baseline) since March commissioning.
