A good log makes completed work easy to record and easy to retrieve accurately. Progression's listing emphasizes transparent formulas and exportable history; Strong presents a focused gym-log workflow. Compare using the same actual session rather than picking the interface that displays the biggest score. Check the current purchase terms and feature availability directly, and keep your own source records when moving between products.

Comparison based on current official descriptions, not hands-on testing of the competing product. Prices, subscription eligibility and feature availability can change.

Recorded workout sets and load-volume summary

A completed workout contains more information than its heaviest set. Paste the exercise, external load, repetitions and number of sets to total your recorded sets, repetitions and load volume by exercise. The result is portable arithmetic, not a prescription for how much training you need.

Use one load unit throughout the input. Load volume is external load multiplied by repetitions and sets; zero external load contributes zero to that measure. It does not measure effort, technique, muscle-specific stimulus or appropriate recovery.

Inputs are processed in this page. Nothing is submitted to the app or a business. Download a result to keep it; this page does not automatically save your work.

What to keep in mind

An estimated maximum is not a lifting prescription or a measured maximum. High-repetition sets, fatigue and technique reduce its usefulness. The web tool does not assess readiness, injury risk or an appropriate training load.
