Do not let polish change the role

A resume rewrite can change seniority or ownership without adding any numbers. Inspect new words and the full passage so tailoring does not turn participation into an unsupported leadership claim.

Put it into practice

Keep the original role context

Review the actual title and responsibilities from your source records. A job posting's preferred title does not justify replacing the role you actually held.

Inspect ownership language

Words such as led, owned or directed can change the meaning of a bullet. The audit lists additional word occurrences, but you must decide whether that wording accurately reflects your contribution.

Check the complete sentence

A word-count audit does not preserve positional meaning. A reordering can change emphasis even when the counts are unchanged. Read the revision aloud and ask whether you could explain the claim with a concrete example in an interview.

A worked example

Changing 'supported a rollout' to 'led a rollout' may create an inaccurate responsibility claim without introducing a single digit. Use the real scope rather than the stronger-sounding verb.

Resume revision word audit and new-number review

A polished revision can quietly add a claim you never supplied. Compare an original passage with a revised one to inspect added and removed word occurrences, with a separate list of new tokens containing digits. The tool highlights changes for your review; it cannot decide whether a claim is true.

This is a case-sensitive word-count comparison, not a positional or semantic diff. Punctuation and capitalization affect matching. Numbers may be legitimate dates, versions or measurements; being highlighted does not mean they are false. No ATS or hiring score is produced.

Inputs are processed in this page. Nothing is submitted to the app or a business. Download a result to keep it; this page does not automatically save your work.

What to keep in mind

This browser tool compares words using an explicitly mechanical method. It does not simulate a real employer's ATS, understand qualifications, predict interviews or know whether a claim is true. Inputs are not automatically saved or uploaded.
