Update what changed hands

A collection list is useful only while it reflects the cards you own. After a nearby exchange, reconcile the two affected counts before making another offer.

Put it into practice

Retain the before state

Keep your current inventory until the game confirms completion. A downloaded preview is a convenient comparison document, but its filename or existence does not prove that anyone accepted the trade.

Check both directions

Find the outgoing card and confirm that its count decreased by one. Then find the incoming card and confirm that its count increased by one. If the incoming familiar was already owned, it should become an additional copy rather than a second row with a slightly different name.

Export a reconciled copy

Only use the proposed inventory as your new record after checking it against the app. Give the saved file a meaningful date or note so you can tell it apart from earlier offers. This document is separate from the game's local save and cannot back up the game's progress.

A worked example

You already own one Riverfin and receive another. The correct new count is two Riverfins, not two independent entries that each claim a unique card. The preview combines repeated case-insensitive names for this reason.

Pocket Familiars one-for-one trade preview

A trade changes a collection in two directions: one card leaves and another arrives. This preview calculates the resulting counts from an inventory you enter, including whether you would give away your last copy. It produces a proposed inventory you can review together before opening the game's nearby exchange screen.

Enter the inventory you actually own. The preview supports one offered card and one received card, reflecting the listing's one-for-one exchange. Matching names are case-insensitive; repeated inventory rows are added together. The file describes a proposal, not a completed trade.

Inputs are processed in this page. Nothing is submitted to the app or a business. Download a result to keep it; this page does not automatically save your work.

What to keep in mind

Trading happens between nearby iPhones, not through internet matchmaking. The game saves progress on the device without cloud sync. This web inventory is a separate planning document and cannot modify game saves.
