Keep the choice visible

A spare copy and a last copy represent different choices even when the card's rarity is identical. Before accepting an exchange, look at what disappears from your collection, not only what arrives.

Put it into practice

Count the card, not the offer

A conversation about a desirable new familiar can distract you from your own inventory. Check the offered card in the game, then put the actual count into the preview. If you own one, the resulting count will be zero.

Name the reason for the trade

You might prefer the new familiar's appearance, affinity or personality. Those are valid personal reasons, but they are not a universal exchange rate. Ask yourself whether you would still be happy with the exchange if no other player praised it.

Keep proposal and completion separate

Download the proposed inventory if it helps you remember the agreement. Do not replace your current collection record until both phones confirm the trade. If either player changes their mind, the proposal should remain only a proposal.

A worked example

Offering your only Emberfox to obtain an unfamiliar creature may be intentional. The preview makes that loss explicit; it cannot decide your preference or execute the exchange.

Pocket Familiars one-for-one trade preview

A trade changes a collection in two directions: one card leaves and another arrives. This preview calculates the resulting counts from an inventory you enter, including whether you would give away your last copy. It produces a proposed inventory you can review together before opening the game's nearby exchange screen.

Enter the inventory you actually own. The preview supports one offered card and one received card, reflecting the listing's one-for-one exchange. Matching names are case-insensitive; repeated inventory rows are added together. The file describes a proposal, not a completed trade.

Inputs are processed in this page. Nothing is submitted to the app or a business. Download a result to keep it; this page does not automatically save your work.

What to keep in mind

Trading happens between nearby iPhones, not through internet matchmaking. The game saves progress on the device without cloud sync. This web inventory is a separate planning document and cannot modify game saves.
