Arrive with a clear offer

A small amount of preparation keeps a nearby card exchange from becoming a long session of searching through collections. Bring an accurate list and an offer that both players understand.

Put it into practice

Build a short offer list

Look through the cards you own and identify which you are comfortable trading. A card is not automatically available just because you own a duplicate. Put only the relevant counts into the preview rather than trying to negotiate the whole collection.

Discuss the two card names

Check spelling and the actual card display on each device. Run the proposed exchange through your own inventory so you can see the resulting counts. The other player should make the same check against theirs.

Use the app for the actual exchange

The App Store listing describes nearby trading with both apps open and the required local-network and wireless permissions. The web preview neither establishes that connection nor moves a card. Review the in-game confirmation before accepting, then record what actually changed.

A worked example

If the agreed incoming card is unavailable when you meet, revise the offer rather than importing the old proposed inventory. Keeping the original list avoids confusing an abandoned proposal with the finished exchange.

Pocket Familiars one-for-one trade preview

A trade changes a collection in two directions: one card leaves and another arrives. This preview calculates the resulting counts from an inventory you enter, including whether you would give away your last copy. It produces a proposed inventory you can review together before opening the game's nearby exchange screen.

Enter the inventory you actually own. The preview supports one offered card and one received card, reflecting the listing's one-for-one exchange. Matching names are case-insensitive; repeated inventory rows are added together. The file describes a proposal, not a completed trade.

Inputs are processed in this page. Nothing is submitted to the app or a business. Download a result to keep it; this page does not automatically save your work.

What to keep in mind

Trading happens between nearby iPhones, not through internet matchmaking. The game saves progress on the device without cloud sync. This web inventory is a separate planning document and cannot modify game saves.
